About Capital Academy
Capital Academy of Gymnastics was formed in 2009 and were originally based in local Leisure Centre. After 2 years Capital Academy of Gymnasts were able to move from the leisure centre to open its own facility in Cardiff. Starting with a membership of just 50, the club has grown significantly to now host over 750 members.
Capital Academy are members and work closely with both Welsh Gymnastics and British Gymnastics. Our facility is based in the Ely area of Cardiff and is a fully kitted Artistic Gym. We offer classes for all ages and abilities from babies who have just learnt to walk through to our junior and senior squad Gymnasts.
Capital Academy has always had a proud track record of success in Women’s competitive gymnastics producing Gymnasts who regularly compete in Regional and National competitions, along with gymnasts successfully gaining places in Welsh and British Squads.
